Recovery Premium

Under the School Information Regulations effective from 1 September 2013 the Academy is required to publish information regarding the catch-up premium. Since 2020-21, the Catch Up Premium has been focused on the impact of Covid-19 and has subsequently been renamed to Recovery Premium.

The aim of the funding is to support young people with catching up on missed learning and support. The amount paid is £145 per student eligible for Pupil Premium, however the funding is for the whole student body.

Prior to 2020, the Catch Up Premium focused on students who did not achieve level 4 at the end of KS2 (leaving Primary School) in Reading and/or Maths.
