CCF Field Day

On Friday, over 100 cadets embarked on an exciting exercise at Mereworth Training Ground, marking the first Field Day of the year. The day was packed with hands-on learning and tactical activities, giving cadets a chance to apply their skills in a real-world setting.

The morning was dedicated to mastering camouflage and concealment techniques, essential for remaining undetected in the field. Cadets also practiced calculating bearings and distances.

In the afternoon, the cadets participated in a stalking activity. The exercise not only tested their technical abilities but also fostered teamwork, discipline, and strategic thinking, laying the groundwork for the challenges ahead in their cadet training.
