On Wednesday 29 January, our Year 7 and 8 Girls’ Football team took part in a tournament at St Greg’s School. The girls put on an outstanding performance, showing remarkable resilience and determination in every match. Competing in a league format, they secured 1 win, 1 draw, and 1 loss, narrowly missing out on a spot in the semi-finals by just 1 point.

Despite this setback, the girls chose to stay and continue playing, opting to take on friendly matches. They played a 10-a-side game against St Greg’s, winning 1-0, and then faced a combined team from Knole and St Greg’s (Gnole), emerging victorious with a 3-1 win.

Throughout the day, the girls displayed incredible passion and commitment to improving their skills. When asked who the player of the tournament was, it was truly difficult to choose, as every player gave their all. Well done to all involved!
