Year 11 students at The Skinners' Kent Academy are celebrating their GCSE results today, epitomising the Academy’s ethos; Pride in Our Success. Whilst results this year have been derived differently to those in previous years, the students’ results are testament to their hard work and commitment over the past five years of schooling with us here at the Academy. Outcomes continue to demonstrate excellent progress of both the students and the Academy as a whole. Highlights across the Academy this year include 29 Grade 9s, 83 Grade 8s and 118 Grade 7s In addition, there were very many examples of outstanding individual achievement, by students across the board.

Commenting on this years results, Principal Hannah Knowles said: “The Academy is incredibly proud of the achievements of all our students and the progress they have made in what has been a disrupted and very challenging period within their education. They have shown grit, resilience and maturity beyond their years.  We are delighted that many of our Year 11 students will be returning in September to study the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme and look forward to welcoming them into our Sixth Form."
